This item is a SolderX brand loaded pickguard, hand built with tender loving care, featuring some of the greatest pickups known to man. SolderX is a new company powered by 30 years of guitar industry knowledge.
The great thing about this guard is that it is built in America by a guy with 30 years of wiring experience and it’s built with American made JC Custom pickups. Another cool feature is that the pickups are mounted to the pickguard instead of the body of the guitar. This makes the whole thing modular and easier to deal with, much like a Strat® pickguard. It’s all basically one piece that you can easily bolt to your Jazzmaster® after you’ve removed the original OEM equipment. All you have to do is solder on your bridge and body ground wires. (See Below)

This Jazzmaster® loaded pickguard is hand-wired in America with American made pickups. It is wired to vintage specs and the pickups are wound to vintage specs:

This loaded pickguard should be grounded to your guitar by utilizing the bridge ground and body ground wires that should be on your Jazzmaster® from the factory. Also, the wiring of this pickguard is built with all of the components grounded together. This means that you only need to ground your tailpiece and one body ground to the pickguard. There are typically several extra ground wires on a Jazzmaster®. It will not be necessary to connect all of them. If you’re building a new guitar from scratch then you will have to source some 22 gauge ground wire.
